Have you noticed what happens within the discussion of something different/ outside the box.
An interesting attitude/ perspective that I have observed and experienced over the past 35 years. Not limited to just from within the real estate, legal or lending industries (I think is human nature) if someone is unaware, unwilling, does not have the whole picture or thinks they know better. The immediate reaction may be something along these lines:
ย ย 1. I have not heard of it (imply doubt/ it is not true yet)
ย ย 2. Be careful I think it may be aโฆ (imply sceptical/ fear)
ย ย 3. I know someone or something better (imply do not agree/ only to get a referral fee from elsewhere)
ย ย 4. Why, what, how are you doing this? (imply ego and coaching, as if their words provide greater knowingness)
ย ย 5. Etc, etc, putting unqualified thoughts/ contributing to greater mistrust amongst industry and causing buyer to financially and emotionally hurt. Some not so nice examples of these outcomes:
