Our Service Process
Building your own home can be one of the most rewarding life experiences, made much easier with the right team on your side. That’s why your dedicated AffordAssist Customer Care is your main contact and constant throughout the entire experience; from the first phone call to receiving the keys. The builder will provide construction updates.
Deferred Deposit Payments During Construction
For land purchases, the interest-free Deferred Deposit Amount (DDA) is paid in monthly instalments commencing one month after the DDA is signed. For construction, DDA payments commence one month after the buyer proceeds with the builder, even before the first loan drawdown. On a typical build, a significant portion of the DDA balance is already paid by the time the home is completed, reducing the outstanding deferred balance.
